even this page is white is a thought-provoking and challenging book of poetry that - in typical vivek shraya fashion - incisively examines the intricate complexity and insidious nature of racism (and intersectionality).
though 'the origins of skin' section isnt quite my thing (i find it a lil winding and discombobulating), many lines, phrases, and some whole poems make my jaw drop w/ how good they are, w/ some particular favs being "white dreams," "you are so articulate," and "agnostic."
this certainly doesnt dissaude me from going thru the author's whole catalogue.
