This series is exactly what I need as a palate cleanser between other books.

Main thought while reading this book was: Damn.  How thirsty can Tori get?

Otherwise, it was an enjoyable romp, with a predictable plot twist, but I didn't mind because it was fun.  Will definitely continue reading the series.

Yes! My favourite book of the series! Because we meet my favourite character, the Druid!

Also, Tori's past get front and centre into her decision making and flaws are pointed out and I love it. Love when characters are called out on their bullshit, especially by friends and loved ones, so you know they need to hear it.

doesn't get 5 stars because... 5 stars are hard to give. There are plot lines that in adult genre wouldn't fly letting an untrained civilian tag along in "official" investigations, so that breaks my suspension of disbelief and looses half a star.
