At this point I'll stop giving TWs because if you've made it to book five you already know 😂. I absolutely love aethelflaed and the development with her character (if you know, you know), but at this point I do start missing Uhtred's Danish side.. Bernard Cornwell can really write a battle scene though and I appreciate how concise and short he keeps his novels.Â
