So many of these characters are ridiculous. The big dude with an idol obsession, the first year Tokyo girl with the very big ego, just all of Panda, the person with the sword and of course Yuuji.
The Naruto parallels are something else. This whole friendship tournament that can help the students advance in the long run is pretty much the chuunin exam. The only difference is a that the first challenge, or whatever, in JK is like the second test in the Naruto chuunin exam, so we're "missing" the written test. Again, I do like that JK is way more gory than Naruto, so that where this series has a bit of a leg up.
