I'm sorry to say I really disliked the author's style, full of 'smiling lightly', 'touching lightly' etc. and didn't particularly warm to Ellery (weird name), Connor and especially Peyton, who I just found annoying. At times it felt like the story moved too fast and lacked depth and coupled with the odd way of writing made it an easy but forgettable read. It's a shame as I'm normally a sucker for a bad-boy-turned-good story but Connor, unfortunately, will not be joining the likes of Christian Grey, Gideon Cross, Jett Townsend and Damian Stark on my list of literary boyfriends :('

I didn't know how I was going to be able to read this book because I have a illness fobbia....but the skilled way it was written I made you understand the characters and how they handled the illness which was amazing ! At times the things she should do we're so funny I found myself laughing and not stopping.....eating pizza and ice cream who would laugh at those scenes BUT the way the scenes were worded were amazing !

A chance encounter, a drunk stranger that needs help getting home and a connection that he never saw coming is exactly what happens between Ellery and Connor. Add in a health scare and a strong headed woman and you have the making for a great story. Looking forward to more in the series.

What a poorly written, toxic, juvenile, train wreck. These dramatic and violent losers deserve each other. I’ve read Mary sue fanfics written by preteens that were better written and fleshed out than this garbage.

I absolutely adored this book! I had read a few of the teasers Sandi Lynn released before the book came out and they really got me interested. I kind of expected this to be another typical 'new adult' book but it was so much more than I expected. I just loved the story between Elle and Connor. I admit I teared up at certain places and busted out laughing in others. It was a great book.

I really enjoyed this book, the story was different and I really enjoyed that. I thought was Elle was hilarious and the way she just didn't give in was great. The near end of the book I wanted to shake her but everyone goes through things in their own way.

The beginning of this was really fan fiction-y and cute, but then, as all of the books in the genre seem to go, it became ridiculous. But not in an endearing and SO over the top it’s comical kind of way. Wouldn’t recommend, but it wasn’t terrible.
