We're actually just about done with this tale on audiobook...it's been our companion on the road for the last week. I was hesitant to let my kids listen because of my typically ultra-conservative viewpoint, especially towards children's literature. However, on assurance from a dear friend whom usually shares my opinions, we dove in! It's been much fun to listen to, and there is a very clear delineation of good vs. evil. It's also been a springboard for conversations about magic, discussing Narnia, Harry Potter and reality. We'll be watching the movie as soon as Netflix sends it!

It was time for me to read this novel. I really enjoyed reading it. The book is very similar to the first movie. I can't wait to read the next novel. I look forward to discover what will happen in the next book. Like in the movie, I love the character of Harry Potter. The character of Peeves made me uncomfortable. It's really strange and I'm not sure I appreciate him.
