I lioet the Netflix adaptation more. The book is different from the series. It was an ok read.

sydney was such an unlikable character. i know she was supposed to be an a angsty teenager, but she kept talking about sex constantly and she kept mistreating her friends. her decisions had no thought put into them and everything felt rushed. i liked the netflix show much better.

Only 2 or 3 episodes in, but if the Netflix adaptation follows this book, I will have deeply deeply wasted my time. Absolutely not. This feels like part 1 of the earliest storyboard, not something bound and published.
