In times of stress, one turns to Harry Potter. Right? I know I’m not the only fan that, when life gets thrown into chaos and distress, runs back to this magnificent series for a comfort read. Discovering that Libro.fm had the Stephen Fry narration available for purchase enables me to not only fall into the cozy, fluffy feels of a favorite series, but it also feels new again with a different narration. So far, Jim Dale’s interpretation is still my favorite – but there are definite differences and things to ooh-and-aah over in Stephen Fry’s version.

REVIEW ON AUDIOBOOK FORMAT
Amazing. Simply amazing. I have read the books so many times. And I am thrilled to be experiencing them in this new way. Jim Dale is a fantastic narrator with voices that had me seeing the characters dancing in front of my eyes. The audio versions of these fantastic stories are making my morning walk & workout enjoyable and something I look forward to … no small feat!

When going on a road trip and your husband, who has only read the first Harry Potter book, says “Why don’t we listen to Harry Potter?”, well, you just don’t say no to that! Does it matter I already re-read Chamber of Secrets this year (though, it was Stephen Fry’s narration of the British edition)? Why, no, it does not matter. Why? Because Harry Potter fans, never say no to a re-read or an opportunity to share their love & passion for the series with new readers.

And, yes, the husband did like it.
