I couldn’t stand Major Lucas Winter whilst reading, he was annoying and a misogynist and many scenes with him are downright uncomfortable to read. However, if you ignore the hero, the book is very enjoyable, ridiculous and an easy summer beach read
The three stars are all for Amelia, the heroine, who was very entertaining throughout the novel
