➽ I really enjoyed Michelle Obama's memoir Becoming and was excited to read another book by her! The Light We Carry is all about retaining hope in times of turmoil and uncertainty, so it spoke to me on a personal level. The book is full of positive messages and advice on how to bring light to others and connect with people. The author includes her own experience in the form of anecdotes to underline her advice! I enjoyed listening to the audiobook, as it's narrated by the author and gave an even more personal feel to the story.
Minor: Death, Racism, Sexism, and Pandemic/Epidemic
