I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a perfect ending to Ever After High. It's also the last ever piece of Ever After High media out there.Â
I really enjoyed the dynamic between all the characters especially when it comes to Raven and Dracula's friendship. The EAH Girls and Monster High gangs friendship is truly the glue of this book. Hale has managed to make the reboot monster high characters work and written a wonderful story about Raven and The Evil Queens bond. The characterisation of every character and the plot will have you hooked. Also loved Brooke Page and her very cheeky footnotes, it made me feel part of the story especially with the choose your own ending and the blank page where you got to write your own story.Â
Unfortunately the whole world of stories and the monsters being a myth at ever after high and fairytales at monster high being a myth is a huge plot hole due to Ever After High being a spinoff of Gen 1 Monster High so it would have been much better if they used Gen 1 instead of the very mid Gen 2.
Also having the crossover with Gen 2 meant that the bits we spent in the Gen 2 monster high world felt really boring.
Other than that I really enjoyed the story and high recommend you check it out if your a Monster High or an Ever After High fan that desperately wanted the crossover movie that they were setting up.
