THIS ONE BIG PLOT TWIST OOOF. These books are very interestign to read. The plot is interesting, a little predictable at times, but overall very well written. My favorite part is the relationships between the characters. I love the diverse group of women that we have collected over the range of these series. I love all the different personalities and jobs they have. I love the idea of women meeting to uncover crimes and sip some margaritas. I would say these books are very casual in righting, they are straight-forward and simple. So if you’re looking for a literary masterpiece with metaphors and great use of literary devices, this might not be the book for you. The book is still very good, but sometimes it fails at setting the correct for the scene. In some parts where major events were happening, I felt not the right emotions because I didn’t feel the moment. There was no strategic pauses or eluding sentences that had the intended effect on me. I will say that writing from the killer’s perspective is a really interesting way to create the mystery in the story and create suspense.
