I love dark humor thriller type books. This one has a unique plot and makes you want to keep reading. I figured out some of the twists but not all of them which was fun. A little cheesy and some of the storyline didn’t make much sense but overall a good, quick read.

Okay so… first off, this book was pretty decently written. It was fun, quick, and honestly kept me guessing. I genuinely thought I knew who it was but was wrong every time and didn’t see it coming.

My issues are with the fact that there were some scenes that just didn’t make sense. They just came across as too fantastical. There was just no way that they could have happened in real life. Now, I realize this is a fiction book and that obviously something like this isn’t necessarily going to happen in real life but at least make it seem somewhat realistic feeling. Being able to crash your van into a tourist attraction and not get arrested? I call bullshit.

Gwen was also kind of annoying. I couldn’t stand that she was constantly so down on herself.

Also, this is absolutely NOT a romcom in way. Don’t go into this book thinking it’s going to be funny and have romance. There were funny parts but I personally didn’t see the chemistry at all between her and the other character.

This book has SO much potential. I do think everyone should give it a try mostly for the fact that it’ll make you hate dating apps and i genuinely didn’t see the ending coming.

This was a quick and enjoyable read. It hit all the right notes for an easy read - humorous, relatable characters, and interesting enough to keep me going. There are no deep messages, just pure entertainment.

What a wild ride! I desperately wanted to help Gwen solve the question at hand. With it being a mystery, naturally my conclusions matched with the book, which made some parts seem slow. I quickly got over those lulls and am so glad I kept reading and could not put this book down.

There were some parts that weren't believable and made Gwen unlikable (not for the obvious things), but it was a fun read.
