Living the dream to fund your nightmares. The compelling tale of Chris Herren and the quest to find rock bottom.

Anyone who doesn't believe that an addiction is an illness or that it can be overcome by sheer will power alone should read this book. Chris Herren tells his story of his heroin addiction with honesty and no excuses. Like his life, the story plummets to depressing lows and you feel for him as everything slips away from him. But ultimately, it is a story of hope. I have never read anything that helped to understand addictive behaviors the way this book did.

Totally honest and vulnerable, Chris Herren is taking us to his hell and back. It is a memoir of struggle, addiction but he is also showing an amazing strength. It is an inspiring read that leaves us with foods for thoughts, I really loved it!!!!
