There wasn’t anything wrong with this book.... it was fast, easy to read, relatable, and decently written, however, I was expecting more of something like the first book (cute love story). This book was definitely a downer and too real life than what I was looking to read.

WOW! What a story, I completely adored it, even though it was heartbreakingly sad at times, but also so full of hope and just had me completely hooked. So much so I read it from start to finish in a couple of hours, and spent the majority of those two hours sobbing as the story unfolded.

Overall anyone who has read Change of Hart and loved it will totally love this too. Just make sure you have a box of tissues handy (as you will certainly need them), and I can honestly say this story will stick with me for a very long time.

Wow… this book blew me away in all the right ways.

I am not going to lie I cried like a lot. It’s got some pretty heavy issues and the way the narrator delivers this performance it blew me away.

When you are dealing with health issues it is hard but when a child is the one that is sick well it is just a whole other ball game.

My heart is hurt and happy and full now. I can’t even describe the emotions I am having right now.

If you read book 1 don’t miss book 2 is phenomenal.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

WOW I loved this book! I have a serious soft spot for kids & step-dads and this book pulled on every piece of my heart!!! I love that this series is in Jason's POV, that makes all the difference! He is such a great guy, every moment of him in this book swept me off my feet! The way he is with Jaxon & how amazing he is with Addison when she is having a break down. This book was 100 % emotional! Such a hard subject matter but a beautiful love story (not just romantic love but his love for his family). I loved the ending, if life has to be that awful then I need an ending like this one. Pretty sure Jason is my new favorite book boyfriend for sure. Do they really make them like that or did M.E Carter just look into my heart and create him.

The narration was perfect! Jacob Morgan was fantastic with all the characters and all the feels!!

Highly Recommended!

I loved this book. I am not a cryer, but circumstances towards the back half of the book, got me a little choked up. Once again wonderful story, wonderful characters. M.E. Carter can write a good story, without all the caveman, alpha, BS, that some of these other books have. Jason and Addison's story is a simple story of how fate can intervene and set the path the rest of the your life.

The first book was a sweet, amazing love story, and a relationship with a man and a little boy that made you smile.

Then comes this one - which will rip your heart out and make even us non-criers cry!

It starts with the amazing wedding of Jason and Addison. But then life throws them curveball after curveball and what they and Jaxon go through will tear you up.

Sad but beautifully told and really touching!

This book was heart wrenching, painful and honestly beautiful. It was so hard to read but so amazing at the same time. To watch Jason and Addison go through all that they did, the downs and the rock bottoms, and yet they make it out. They fight through it together and come out stronger than ever. So many tears but so good.

This book was completely relatable and brought up memories of when the word cancer affected me. Granted it was not me personally and it was not a child, but I felt the same things that were described in this book when I found out my mother had cancer (by the way she kicked cancer in the ass) so I was an emotional mess from the start and I continued to be an emotional mess the entire way all the way to the very end.

There were moments of humor, sadness and heart warming moments that made your heart swell. I honestly have nothing negative say about this book. So go and read it. Make sure you have tissues you though, that was a lesson that I had learned.

description

I dove right into this book after finishing Change of Hart. This was not as light as the first book. I read spoilers so I knew what was going to happen and let me tell you it didn't make it easier to read though. I felt so bad for the family to go through this. I would not wish this upon my worst enemy. It is one of the hrdest thing to go through. This was a very emotional book. I loved it as much as the first book. It was great seeing the characters develop further. A story doesn't end after the characters get married.
