I love this one— all my favorite tropes and Sawyer was the best.

I’m not one for Rom Coms, and I’m very picky about my female main characters. For me a bad female lead can ruin a book faster than a speeding ticket.

This book surprised me in so many ways. I liked the main character even though she was a little emotional. I couldn’t wait to read chapter after chapter, following our odd enemies to lovers in Paris. We also got a lovely and supportive sibling relationship which I think is really lacking in fiction.

I laughed, got that happy achey chest feeling, and got angry. Any time a writer can pull genuine emotion from me I am here for it.

Definitely add this one to your beach or airplane read list you won’t be sorry.

Emma has outdone herself. This book had me in a chokehold. Between the tension building between our main characters, the relatability of said characters, the side characters who added to the plot in a way that I loved, and the conflicts along the way that were just enough drama without ruining the fun, adorable story that she has created. I am in Love!! My new favorite of Emma’s books. I’m obsessed!! So grateful to have the opportunity to read this before the world realizes the masterpiece before them.

There’s a lot of plot holes and
if my boyfriend defended a drunk driver that put my mother in the hospital, they’d be dumped immediately and there would be no getting back together, so using this  a third act climax and not having a nuanced conversation was incredibly unbelievable.
The way that Georgia and Sawyer are written is really similar. If anything, if you take the names out and bypass the bodily language, it reads like the same character. The audiobook was enjoyable so if you’re going to read this, pick that up but be prepared for plotholes and a really unsatisfying third act climax.

Lmao a great comic story a wonderful enemies to lover story. I loved the jokes they hit each other with. Sawyer and Georgia is good together I loved the murderous hater and the jokes they hit each with and when they fail in love. It was comic and I laughed a lot the whole Paris trip and with a little drama at the end also Emerson the most adorable sister and best friend I loved her she was cute. Good light story perfect
