This is definitely a transition after the chaos that was the last book, but it’s still rather good! The pace isn’t as quick, the stakes aren’t nearly as high, but after the wild, unhinged nature of the last book, it feels much needed—LAWD knows Morgan needs a second to catch her breath (no pun intended 🫠)! A lot of groundwork is being laid for what’s to come, we’re starting almost from scratch again which I LIVE FOR! There is a lot of heartbreak, but there’s also a lot of hope peeking it’s head in. I’m falling back in love with the series, and I’m so happy I decided to reread it and finish it this time!
Graphic: Lesbophobia, Homophobia, and Grief
Moderate: Abandonment
