One of the best psychological thriller i’ve read in a long time.

A women was hit by a car after breaking from her captivity, when the ambulance takes her with a little child “Hannah” who told them that the women name was Lena, which is a name for a woman who was abducted from 13 years ago and never found.

When Lena’s parents came to the hospital, they were 100% sure that this women was not their daughter, however, the little girl was their daughter’s spitting image in that age. The story starts to unfold and all the secrets begin to surface.

The writing style is incredible, which it was told by 3 narraters, “Lena” , Hannah and Lena’s father, along with newspaper reporters. Each one of them have secrets and different motives, and each one of their statements ends with a shocking fact, which makes you glued to the book till the end.

It was ok. I got a bit bored at times. I listened to this on Audible and the male narrator is terrible. It honestly sounded like the microphone was in his mouth

Solid contemporary character driven thriller - there were a few twists and Hausmann makes good use of the unreliable narrator.
