Raven’s mom is engaged to marry Jett Powers — a powerful and super successful lawyer and all-around asshole. Raven should hate him just as much as she hates her mom. But when Raven and Jett meet for the first time, sparks fly, and everything changes.

I loved this! It was such a sexy and kinky little read.

First there’s Jett, who unsurprisingly checks all my boxes. I like a lot of different types of heroes and antiheroes, but powerful dominant asshole ones are my favorite brand of hero/antihero. And he’s all of those things. He’s arrogant and cocky and sexy and I’m loving it.

Probably a lot of ladies reading Jett won’t like him though because he definitely cheats on the OW with Raven. And even though he doesn’t cheat on Raven, he makes it appear as though he does to push her away. But I still liked him.

And Raven surprised me. For some reason I figured she’d be a little more timid and maybe even a little annoying when we hear about her at the beginning of the book. But I liked her! She has a good backbone despite liking to play the role of submissive.

Together these two were explosive and sexy. The sex scenes were smokin hot! And they were also really passionate and sweet together. I thought their relationship was pretty well done and the author did a good job gradually building them up from attraction to being in love.

I would definitely read more from this author. Great book!

I mean, what can you really say about this man? He is absolutely delicious in the most wrong way possible. He is Raven’s mom’s fiancé and their relationship is so good. He walks in on Raven’s boyfriend and sends him away so that he can do the job properly. The constant sneaking around, and just the spice is so good. I found myself blushing through most of the story, and I still could not put it down. I devoured this book. Absolutely devoured this book. The groveling that happens and how he gets her back and the struggle that they both go through to be in this relationship with each other is so wonderful.

I loved this book! Raven and Jett were seriously made for each other! They were off the charts hot and I loved the naughty age-gap, this is very forbidden, twist!

I think I have found a new favourite romance author  😍

It's been a long time since I've read a romance book that wasn't dark, and I have to say I've missed it!
"Power" is an easy read and steamy romance where the FMC have some daddy issues to sort out. IYKYK 😌😌

I'll drop the book about Rachel (who tf wants to read about her anyways?!) and go straight to the second brother.

Jett Powers wins the award for being the worst book boyfriend and that will never change for me. I hate this man, I hate this man, I supremely hate this fictional man.

As entertaining as this was, it was pretty corny lol. It was also very much insta-love, which I don't necessarily dislike, but it makes it harder for an author to make the romance believable; and in this case, it wasn't too believable but--fiction, right?

Rich guys just don't do it for me, I guess..and the over-the-top vibe of it all is just eye-rolling; BUT, the spice was pretty good and I kinda like the screw-over-the-mom-bc-she's-a-biatch of it all, so I did enjoy it overall. I would recommend it if you're in the mood for a spicey time--just don't expect a swoony romance by any means. Groveling is pretty fun when the guy is super rich tho, so there's that.

I will be reading the next book--Jet's brother's book!
