This book confuses me: I know there is something very important in it, but it’s extremely hard to grasp. The core ideas of fractal, adaptive, interdependence and decentralization, non-linear and iterative, resilience and transformative justice, creating more possibilities; all strike a chord and show that there is much more to learn!

Overall amazing and deeply compelling as a concept, perhaps not my favorite book for learning about it? I read this with my therapist over the past few months, and was very glad for that applied opportunity for exploration of self through the lens of emergent strategy. However, I think the organization and flow of this made it difficult to feel grounded in at times. Like I could tell many of the anecdotes, quotes, and excerpts from other materials were really meaningful where amb placed them for herself, but I found myself unable to make those connections without someone to talk it through with. Perhaps that's just a testament to the fact that this book and this strategy so deeply depend on interdependence!

The content is brilliant, but the presentation and organization was hard for me to follow at times, in particular the middle third of the book.

Such an important book! So many underlines ... move at the speed of trust. Start small. Everything is interconnected. Thank you Adrienne
