Hilarious. Relatable. Wish it were five times longer but then, of course, it wouldn’t be an essay so the title will have to be changed. Plus it was free on Amazon prime. Booyah. It kinda made me want to write about my own terrible childhood memories.

the writing style of this was very entertaining and clearly show the authors quirky fun humor with sarcasm and snark thrown in to make it even funnier.
but while it was entertaining it did lose a bit of that when she dove too deeply into her halloween childhood memories and never came out of them anymore.

for a story that’s 25 pages long and has a few mentions of her not being paid by the word and just get to what she should be talking about 5-10 of those pages lost the point of this rather spectacularly.

still entertaining and a quick read, so if you want something to entertain you while waiting around for something? go for it!

I also choose darkness

I was not aware this existed but Amazon made sure to let me know. I listened to it while reading it and was still shocked at what I thought I heard and then had to go back and highlight it to find later.

I kind of think Jenny Lawson is why I want to write my own blog. I love following hers.
