I am eating the heck out of these books!! They are so short, and just like in the first book, Christine has managed to fit in the perfect amount of action, drama, and romance into this book. I could not be happier.

Jessica thought that seeing Evan was love at first sight, but what if she just saw what she wanted to see? What if she had just seen the good side of him, and that wasn't the only persona he had? More, not that she is being forced to spend quality time with Mikael, was her first impression of him not what truly lied inside of his heart? Was she too quick to make her decision to bond with Evan?

We definitely see a side to both Evan and Mikael that we weren't expecting to see. It is clear: everything is not always as it first seems, and sometimes the shine will simply wear off. To be quite honest though, when the question was asked as to who would destroy her, the answer was obviously too evident to be the true answer. I will let you riddle that out.

I definitely recommend this series as a whole. They are very short reads and have plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained.

Interesting.

I am pretty sure I know where this is going to go but I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Jessica is great. She is a little bit of a brat but I like her anyway. She doesn't let anyone tell her what to do.

I liked it and while I was happy with who she ended up with based on the behavior of each in this book I found that
Spoiler while I love Mikael from this book and consider him the right choice he was a completely different character from Mikael in the first book. I mean a sensitive puppy rescuing softy who respects Jess and supports her with no arrogant displays whatsoever just does not compute with the arrogant a-hole who basically attempted to murder her human friend for defending her verbally from his slurs. It's great that it all worked out for Ash and she a werewolf and happy but this was NOT his intent when he attacked her. It makes no sense.
