A simple relatable tale about needing peace and quiet sometimes. It’s the bit when grandmother goes to the moon that really won me over. And then it got better! I do love Vera Brogsol.

Great pictures, I appreciate the story about needing alone time. I guess I wanted it to be more on everybody else to respect the old woman’s space instead of her having to go through a literal wormhole into a void to get some peace and quiet.

Absolutely stellar! Begins like a typical folktale, with the kerchiefed Baba looking for some peace and quiet, but segues into sf territory by way of the surreal. Beep! Boop! Wormhole traveling granny, coming through!

Sometimes you just need your space! The grandmother in this story is desperate to find a little quiet time to be creative! She finally finds the space she needs but misses those she's being creative for. Great picture book to being to talk about boundaries.
