This is not the review this book deserves-if you want a lovely, sweet queer love book to read, this is for you! Absolutely the fluff I needed in my life.

It's a very fun read, I wouldn't say I'm going to remember it for a long time or anything. It's not the kind of thing that "stays with you". But it's a fun queer book that includes discussion of homophobia in the world but ultimately the central characters are surrounded by good people. The "climax" events of the plot I didn't find overwhelming or unsurprising but there's a few things that might warrant a trigger warning.

Overall, it's a great fiction romance story surrounding queer characters.

“That’s the choice. I love him, with all that, because of all that. On purpose. I love him on purpose.”

This was so cute and so much fun. I love Alex and Henry and I loved seeing their relationship develop. I love how Henry got more and more comfortable being himself around others and coming out of his shell. I loved reading this in Alex’s POV. I felt all the highs and lows of this book and I’m excited to see the movie!

I was sceptical about this book. But it is absolutly worth it. The chemistry was soo good. I loved how they send real life queer love letters to eachother. All the background characters were soo interesting and well written. Fell in love with the fantasy/current time world she wrote.
