A click-bait title that packages together a handful of short, immediately relatable and very amusing essays on the woes of patriarchy and male privilege. There isn’t anything groundbreaking I’d say, a lot of it reminded me of the realisations that drew me to (black) feminism as a uni student, and it doesn’t really take into account the intersections of things like race and class that make blanket terms such as “I Hate Men” and “Men Are Trash” problematic and actually quite harmful. But, I’m not gonna pretend I didn’t thoroughly enjoy reading it lol.

I was kind of disappointed, it’s nothing revolutionary if you’ve been reading about feminism fo a while, but it would be a good introduction to someone who hasn’t. It’s not bad but very « basic ».
Very little about intersectionality.

Seems like a good start if you've never witnessed basic feminist discourse. But as a book that's been published in 2020, I'm surprised it focuses only on the white heterosexual male privilege and relationships with white heterosexual women. There is no discussion or mention of intersectionality at all.
