I listened to this on audiobook and it was the bomb dot com. The narrator was amazing and it felt like a whole new experience. This still made me laugh out loud and I loved it. Even my brother who doesn't read was getting into it. Definitelyyy recommend the audiobook and this book. It's amazing. Love it, love Goldy. Please pick it up and love it too lol.

Does anyone else know the main character's name? Cause I sure as hell don't...

Wow that was a shit-storm of a book. It was absolutely ridiculous and a complete mess. The total opposite of a literary masterpiece but it made me laugh out loud. It was really bad and ridiculous, but in a good way. I honestly couldn't put it down. There was just so much going on and the main character is slightly unreliable and basically everyone in the book is crazy and suspicious and it kind of read like fanfiction. It was absolutely unbelievable at some points, but it's a book so who cares and it kind of adds on to the whole unreliable MC thing.

Anywayyy I loved it and it's definitely my handsell at work. I'm going to try to make everyone I know read it cause I want everyone to take part in the ridiculousness that it this book.

This was fucking crazy. A roller coaster from start to finish, and it was utterly hilarious. The power of fangirls, man, is no joke.

Way darker than I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be much more lighthearted. However, it was so relatable as a former 'directioner'. (Obviously without the kidnapping). The description of fan culture, what the different girls did as fans, how they felt and acted was so spot on. I felt personally spoken to lol.

You have to be in the right mood to enjoy this book. I do think it got a bit dark and sadistic for me though? I took a long break while reading this just because it was a bit much. Overall a fun read though, especially if you were/are part of a fandom.

I got an ARC of this at work, and I love boy bands and also think boy band fandom is extremely interesting, so I wanted to read. The cover is simple and eye-catching. The book itself is a quick read with enough twists to keep you interested. I don't know that it particularly says anything that deep about teen fandom culture (and I could have used more grounding in reality, less 80s references), but overall this is a fine way to spend a day.

ending was a little underwhelming after planting the seeds of a more juicy twist. but i feel like horrors/thrillers often end in an underwhelming way. but this was fast and fun in a twisted way.
