A beautiful Small town romance novella following a married couple. It is an emotional journey through reconnection, reigniting the fire and taking a huge leap of trust when miscommunication clouds your mind. Beautifully written and a great introduction to Zoe York’s writing and her Wardham series.

Sometimes you just need to talk. Carrie and Ian are a great couple but they have serious communication problems.

A completely fine marriage in trouble romance novella with some decent smut. I'm going to forget everything about this book within a week, though.

I... really liked this? I didn’t expect to, it was my first from this author and I’m always weary of trying new to me authors, but this was free and short so I gave it a go and honestly, I’m impressed. I liked the writing, the characters and even the plot. I think it was a great length for what it was, and I think they were both quite realistic. Will definitely give this author another read.
