Checking Out the Librarian is a second chance romance story where feelings still linger deep down for Noah and Louisa years later.
Noah returns to the small town he grew up in after things go bad with a former business partner and he takes a job at the local library where his ex happens to work.
The story held the promises of being a good story, but by 25% I was ready to DNF the story, but I forced my way through.
Yes, the story did pick up at one point, but then it kind of just fell flat again. I didn't really feel anything for the characters and truthfully I didn't care if they reunited or not even though you know it will happen in the end
