Now that finals are over, I’ve finally gotten around to finishing this book.

The Return of the Native by Thomas Henry is a classic following primarily 5-ish people who get caught in sort of a love square plus line(?) situation. This plot is sprinkled with unhappy marriages and misunderstandings, and there isn’t really a character to root for. This book took me quite a long time to get into. The pacing was slow, and something about the prose was just not doing it for me. Having just finished this book, I could not confidently explain what the plot of this book is. This is the worst book I have read by this author.
