THe basic premise is that touch is fine with kids, but it is something childish and gross in adults, and it is much better to use a machine to get pleasure. Of sure, you can have a life partner, and you can both have machines do it to you, together. But actually touching, and kissing. Yuck.

And so the main chracer has been lead to believe, until she discovers that she likes the touch of someone. And how what does she do. She keeps calling it an experiment, that she is just doing research, and so she continues working through the city, this new planet that she has come to, hoping not to get caught, but wanting more than an experiment.

This first volume covers that. We dont' know why, yet, why she came to this planet, though she tells it is is because she wants to grow flowers.

This is the first in a series taken from the web comic by the same name. There is a second volume out, but it just got published via quick started, so it may not be appeared here right now.

This is volume 1 of an ongoing series. You can read the whole webcomic for free, but I like to pay my creators for their work so I bought it :)

Anyway, it's beautifully drawn, the characters are diverse, and it's a playful look at deeper themes of intimacy, grief, and friendship. My full review is here:
