This is a delightfully original cozy paranormal mystery series from the very unique mind of Kim Watt. Gobbelino is a talking cat—turns out they all talk, you just may not be cool enough to understand what they’re saying. His partner Callum is a human whose led a pretty rough life. They run a not very profitable detective agency in Leeds, and while they don’t actively look for it, trouble of the supernatural kind always seems to find them.

In this installment, they try to stop a zombie plague—with the aid of a motley crew of associates that includes an inept mortician, cats from the secret Watch guarding the faery realm, a kick-ass sorceress on a motorbike, and a brownie-baking, cafe-owning Grim Reaper. Read and find out if they succeed!
