DNF @ 68%.

Even though this is a middle-grade story, I had no enjoyment reading this aloud to my 8-year-old daughter. It's extremely bleak, and I don't care how it ends... it was lacking in fun adventure. it was just sad the entire time.

To be honest, this one didn't thrill me. It gets four stars because both of my kids seemed to love it, which isn't easy since they're 4 years apart. I will also admit that the last page got me a little teary. We always love a book that's been made into a movie and we are looking forward to watching it together very soon.

Me han encantado las ilustraciones, y la historia sobre cómo un pequeño chico sin nada que perder se convierte en Papá Noel es muy interesante.

Really cute kids novel about how Santa Claus came into being. A bit sad in parts but definitely good for getting into the Christmas spirit

Can you really go wrong with a Christmas book narrated by Stephen Fry? :’)

This is an illustrated little story about how an unhappy boy named Nikolas turned into Father Christmas.

It's a very easy read and I would recommend it to everyone to read during these colder, darker winter days.
