Enjoyed learning about the enneagram! I’m a solid 1w2. I think this is a book I’ll go back to and re-read about different types in the future. I know you shouldn’t (per the author’s instruction) but it was fun to type people I know as I read it 🙊

I'm new to learning about the enneagrams, and this seems like an ok place to start for beginners, but I wish it would have went a little deeper. I'm still not entirely sure which type I am. I think I'm a 1 wing 9, but I also kind of resonated with type 3. Like I said, not a bad place to start, but I'd definitely recommend finding something else to dive deeper.

I find the Enneagram so fascinating that I read this one twice! Ian Cron's voice is engaging, fun, and conversational, and the content is well-researched and perceptive. This is a great book to begin to understand the Enneagram. It's accessible and interesting and approaches the topic at a high (but complete) level, with suggestions at the end of each chapter for each number on the Enneagram to use in pursuing spiritual growth. This book focuses on the spiritual strengths and weaknesses inherent in each number.

I loved this book! It was a perfect introduction to the Enneagram. It went into great detail about each type and really made me understand which type I am. I bought the workbook to go along with it, and it was a perfect supplement.

An excellent primer for the ennegram. It simply and interestingly lays out the 9 types, mapping out what the core types are, wings, health and stress, and how to move forward and improve.
It provides a language for how you feel, experiences you have, and patterns you can be prone to fall into.

this was a GREAT read/listen. I felt it was the most succinct and approachable guide to the Enneagram that I've read By Far. I guess that could be because each time I've learned and retained a bit more about it, but I really felt like Cron EMBODIED what it means to be each type and really talked about what it looks like in day to day life so much better than many others have done. highly recommended for personality geeks like me!
