Loved it, another excellent Macro & Cato adventure. The best part of these books are the battles. Scarrow writes as good as battle scene as anyone, laying out tactics and strategy clearly and fluidly, and then delves into the individual conflicts seamlessly. I love to read his battle scenes!

You got to this part in the series, you should know what to expect by now. Lots of violence of the battles, the close scrapes and people not being who you think they are.
