LIKE ALWAYS, THE QUEEN DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I’ve been a fan of Colleen for a while, and her books always managed to leave me a sobbing mess. I love the humanness she displays in her characters, showing us the traits we tend to forget human beings can actually possess while still creating a raw, heartbreaking story that will leave you with a profound appreciation for people & their ability to love

This CoHo book made me want to keep giving CoHo books a try! I loved the dual perspective of mother and daughter. It was a great mix of YA and normal fiction. The romances were fairly clean which was a welcome surprise, and it didn’t read like a true romance novel does. It captivated me and at the end I couldn’t believe it was over. There was drama and scandal and love but it was missing a touch of something else so I couldn’t give 5 stars.

I love, love, love the relationship between Clara and Miller. The book is filled with lots of plot twists that kept me on my toes, but I won't say much – you'll need to read it yourself. I particularly enjoyed how the story was presented from the points of view of both Morgan and Clara in alternating chapters. The ending, while predictable and cheesy, was still very satisfying. It is a straightforward read and very enjoyable overall
