This was my first book by Mary Crawford but it won't be my last. I'm definitely going back to read more about the characters that were just touched upon in this novel. Tough deals with the tough topics; homelessness, drug addiction, rape and sex trafficking, but it has an important story to tell and it does it in a way that’s makes the characters inspiring. It’s not your typical romance. Savannah and Casey have had different but very difficult experiences, which impact who they are today. Tough is well worth the read.
