Just the best and most reliable bubblegum read. The perfect palette cleanser or pick me up read.

At first I wasn’t a fan of Josie being so standoffish but as her story developed it made sense. However it still was the enemies to lovers I expected, it started with feeling very cruel and then suddenly Haeden was a big softie (and kinda written the same as every other alien, I know they all have the same outlooks so protective and possessive etc but it was just samey in personalities). I did want to read the entire series but think I’m gonna pause at this one and maybe come back to it another time.

Rating: 5/5
Spice: 2.5/5
Trope:
Alien Romance
Fated Mates

Plot: Josie can't stand Haeden and his grumpy attitude. Haeden thinks that Josie is too fragile and weak for a human. Starting off as "enemies" when Josie finds out that her birth control option is no longer there, she finds she can finally resonate with someone! But who does she resonate with? None other than grumpy Haeden. They literally ignore the resonance for more than a month before their relationship even begins to feel like they're mates.

Thoughts: I enjoyed this story. Not as much smut as the other books, but i think it's replaced meaningful development in their feelings for each other.

Safety:
Virgin/ Celebate: Haeden is a virgin!
Cheating/sharing: no
Triggers: mentions of rape, child abuse.
HEA: yessssss

These books are so addictive. Cause about 3/4 of the way through the book I start getting really curious about the next story, and the next couple, and OMG I can’t wait till… blah blah blah. And I haven’t even finished the book yet!

This one is Josie and Haeden's story. I thought I would love this one because I like a grumpy MMC but this one is just okay. I think mostly I didn't like Josie as much. This one brought some new creatures on the planet in and I did like that. Both of the backstories for the MCs are really sad so it's nice to see them come out of it with a happily ever after.
