Pen, thank you! I thoroughly enjoyed Nightfall, and it was a great conclusion to the Devil’s Night series!

What a perfect ending to a great series.
So first things first…
Emory is my girl. I fell in love with her. Everything about her was right, her complex character, her fears and dreams and her fight against herself.
I saw myself in her.
Kinda like with Damon, it was easy to understand her motives and actions. Her abuse caused her major trust issues and she did not know how to love or let anyone in, until one boy did not give up on her.
But the best part was, she realized soon, that she did not need the boy but she needed to start loving herself and thus save herself. I gobbled her story up.
And Will…oh I am a simp for a simp…
His love for Emory was just so sweet. And he is the one character with the most growth and change in the series. Him stepping up and becoming his true self, acknowledging his potential and opportunity was really great.
Damon will forever have a special in my heart. Cause his scenes were just funny and delicious.
And in typical Penelope Douglas fashion, the twists and turns just kept coming. The last 20% of the book is wild..like what..and who?! 😂😂😂
I am sad this is the end of this series. Cause I want to be part of this clusterfuck of a family.

Will & Emory
Second Chance
Betreyal/Revenge
Hidden secrets
This book is AMAZING!!
It was action packed with soooo many things happening that I did not see coming, which linked to the other books in the series.
My mind feels blown with how everything links together and OMG IT IS JUST AMAZING!!!!
I absolutely love this book and series! I'm so glad there is another Novella to read because I don't want this to end 😭

I’ll admit, it was a little long and normally that would make me knock my rating down a star or two, but this was so nostalgic for me, these characters all have such a special place in my heart and seeing them grow, change, and in some cases stay exactly the same, it was so fun.
Emory was one of my favorite characters, She went through so much, made so many mistakes, but she was also so strong. She is the perfect mate for Will.
Part of me wishes this series would never end, but I think Penelope ended it on a high note. As someone who DOES prefer tidy endings, I thought the epilogue was great. It wasn’t just that everything ended and everyone settled down and it was happily ever after. These people weren’t built for a quiet life and Penelope did a great job continuing the story off the page. It may be over, but they’re never done.
