Wyatt, upon inheriting her family's farmhouse, is determined to burn it to the ground. However, her plans take a dramatic turn when she discovers Peter, bound and fated to die repeatedly due to his cursed immortality. The property has become a site for sacrificial killings, with Peter suffering at the hands of those seeking to gain from his immortality. To break free from this cycle, Peter must end Wyatt's family line.
“Your Blood, My Bones” by Kelly Andrew is one of my favorite books this year. I absolutely loved the dynamics between Wyatt, Peter, and James. I liked the beautiful magic and the ugly decay imagery. I loved how seamlessly it shifted from the present and memories without any confusion. I loved the multiple POV’s which isn’t usually something I like, but in the book, it was so good. 5 out of 5, absolutely perfect in every aspect.

I appreciate being able to get a copy of this. This was my first Andrew book and going forward I definitely think I will include her in her rotation of books that I read and that I’m anticipating. The world Andrew created, the way she wrote. It was such an immersive experience. I constantly underlined quite a few lines that really just tugged at my best strings.
I think the plot was okay but the character work she did and her prose was so lush. I still feel like I have so many questions in regards to the choices that were made and the way magic works. At times I didn’t really feel that Wyatt completely tapped into what she was capable of doing. I wish we couldn’t seen more of that, her growth as a witch.
Anyways, I’ll definitely be recommending this because I’m very curious about what others may think.

This book is really fantastic! I’m so happy I read it during spooky season and only wish I could give it to people to read now instead of having to wait until it hits shelves in April 2024. Kelly Andrew hits the perfect mood of eerie and mysterious throughout the book and definitely keeps you turning the pages. The stakes are high from page 1, and though there’s a brief lull about 70% of the way through, things pick up again pretty quickly.
Wyatt and Peter/Petyr are both really compelling as characters and really make you want to root for them. Even when things are really tense between them or their circumstances are really fraught, their dynamic feels very realistic and natural instead of forced for the plot.
And the plot as it unfolds is really exciting and keeps the revelations coming. I’d definitely recommend this book to anybody who enjoys supernatural YA with high stakes and characters who’ve seen some shit and will definitely see more before the book is through. It’s not for the faint of heart, but it’s worth it.
