More art! I enjoyed that this volume was heavily about composition, things that maybe you don't always think about when you look at art. Yatora's entire thought process about composition and how it realtes to his art is relatable, and you can see how it might change thim throughout the story.
There's also a discussion in here about famous artists and the fact that, even if you consider yourself an artist, that doesn't mean that you have to like art that's considered "good." What's considered good is subjective, anyway. It's a great discussion, especially as it relates to aspiring artists.

A major character (who likely falls somewhere under the trans umbrella but precise identity hasn't been specified so far) gets rejected on a date by a cisgender guy who says he can't date them anymore because he's "normal." This upsets them a lot, and they express to the main character that if they must be society's definition of "acceptable," they'd died. (Worth noting: so far --although they are friendly with each other-- the main character persists in calling this character by their deadname, which will likely be grating to trans readers.)
