Met bergliteratuur is het zo: cru gezegd is het allemaal een pot nat. Als je één boek hebt gelezen heb je ze allemaal wel gelezen. En eigenlijk is dat helemaal niet zo erg, want je krijgt precies wat je zoekt. Zo ook in dit boek. Een verhaal over alleen zijn met jezelf en de natuur, vrijheid, vriendschap en het leven

Hace poco fui al cine a ver "Las ocho montañas", basada en el libro homónimo de Paolo Cognetti. Maravillado por la fuerza de las imágenes, me lancé a investigar un poco más sobre el autor y comprobé que la realidad seguía siendo la gran fuente de inspiración. Este librito sobre un ermitaño viviendo en una "baita" alpina se entiende mucho mejor tras haber visto la película (o leído el libro, que lo haré en breve), pero se disfruta imaginándose a uno mismo allí.
