Bamburgh is a stunning and magical place and I loved reading about Claire and Ed's 'will they, won't they' relationship. This novel is all about enjoying the little things, the things that matter and supporting each other through the hard times.

A real feel-good, easy-read novel with an English seaside backdrop and down-to-earth writing style that I enjoyed immensely.

An interesting story that could be considered extremely light reading. Each chapter has its merits, and certainly, the descriptions of food and the general writing style were pleasant, but the plot was predictable, there was very little chemistry between the main character and her love interest, and the cancer element proved to be more of a filler than anything particularly integral to the story. The ending felt like it rushed to the climax because the author decided they had enough of writing, and as a result no tension had developed throughout the story, in any capacity.

Honestly the book was alright but it was hard to read due to uts rambling nature, honestly the plot mainly revolved about bread making instead of the romance itself :")
But then the romance did come it was quite rushed and out of nowhere which was disappointing, id gove ut one star but it did have a few lines and me and my friend swapped it and annotated it which made it a little bit more fun.
Would recommend to someone who just likes slow books

A very sweet book, it was exactly what I thought it would be, and I enjoyed it as an aside from my usually darker reads
