Dinosaurs Galore!
Although I enjoyed the book, it didn't really engage me as much as I would have liked. I struggled with the choice of a 3 or a 4 rating, but decided since I was looking forward to more of the story, I would give it 4 stars.
The dinosaurs were fun. The story was well written. The characters were well developed. But it just missed on the spark I needed to make it a real page turner and get fully engaged in the story. I do think this situation would have made a more interesting TV series than Terra Nova.
However, I will note that I consider the regular price of $5.99 to be outrageous for a 99-page book. I'm glad I got my copy on a free promotion. But I'd be unlikely to pay more than $1.99 for the second book, if it is the same size.
