I read this book and the Quiet Book and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend reading both books. I liked the illustrations but enjoyed the humor and the great use of words.

Companion to The Quiet Book. In the same way the soft illustrations helped to make The Quiet Book so beautifully quiet, the same style does not help The Loud Book convey the sounds/feelings of the text.

Delightfully fun. Love the pictures, the animals act out the "loud" parts with lots of depth.
