The romance between Conrad and Cait was heartbreaking but also sweet. The relationship between the original members is also so sweet. Overall the political plot feels a bit rushed across the series but that might just be because I didn’t register exactly how much time was going by between each book.

I thoroughly enjoyed Cait and Conrad's story! Cait, so adventerous; I loved it! Conrad, such a gentleman; well, maybe! What of Cait's brother Terric….will Conrad remain his friend? Ms. Mecca continually warms my heart with her historical romances. This is a novel you can grab and read through in a couple/few hours. That's good too, as you will not want to put this down!

This is the last book in the series, and it ended it well. The four men and their new wives achieve their aim and loose their hearts in the process.
