I loved this! The focus on the magical academy of WUNSOC was SO interesting to me, and I loved learning more about Nevermoor alongside Morrigan. Also, Jupiter and Morrigan’s adopted father-daughter relationship is everything. Docked a half-star because the plot lacked a clear direction.
The audiobook was also, once again, incredible!
Moderate: Trafficking, Violence, Car accident, Death, and Animal cruelty
Minor: Murder, Fire/Fire injury, Bullying, Animal death, Medical content, Gore, Alcohol, Physical abuse, Xenophobia, Vomit, Injury/Injury detail, Body horror, Drug use, Drug abuse, War, Excrement, Blood, Ableism, and Child death
Graphic content warnings for blackmail. Minor warnings for mass death, drowning, capital punishment.starlessnights's review against another edition

I'm still finding this series utterly charming, and need to stop forgetting it exists and finish the whole thing already!
The only thing that stopped it from being a full five stars is I really disliked one of the decisions Morrigan made in the course of the story. There are several times she makes dubious decisions, but generally the story brings her around to realize her error and set her right pretty quickly. This one is never really pointed out as an error, though she does (much later) make a decision that I feel sets right what she did wrong the first time.
