There were parts of this book I absolutely loved like Clay reading Gianna's romance novels and the friendship that develops between Clay and Gianna. However I was just infuriated by the third act breakup because it felt so far fetched and unrealistic and frankly the way Clay handled it was atrocious  (I know he was being manipulated by adults but he did not need to hurt Gianna that badly even if he truly thought them breaking up was the best solution)

Oooof the SPICE! I loved this fake-dating storyline. I usually don't like real-life references in books, but there were some in this that I loved. Like Clay reading Gianna's smut novels for inspiration... HOT.

I am a sucker for fake dating with real feelings so when I saw this book being recommend as being like the deal by Elle Kennedy I just had to pick it up and although I loved the deal, I loved this one even more!

Clay hasn't been himself since his long term girlfriend broke up with him, he's been grumpy, useless on the field and he's developed a serious attitude problem, which is a pain in the ass for our resident good girl Giana, who arranges all of the PR for the team and is currently swooning over a college musician who she's convinced doesn't know she exists. Upon learning this clay has an idea, they should fake date. Making his ex girlfriend jealous, realising she wants him back and in exchange he will help Giana get noticed by her crush.

Wowww, Clay is THE book boyfriend!!!! Try convince me otherwise I dare you.

I loved that Giana was a fellow smutt reader and I loved even more the lengths that Clay went to in order to know what she likes and wants (if you know you know
