I have no idea what the hell was happening near the end here. Maybe I'll understand more in the future

I really enjoyed the characters but I felt like I was reading a plot that was slapped together and explained later as an afterthought. I thought the concept was so fun and I wished it had been better fleshed out. Side note,  I did especially enjoy the postscript that FFX was an inspiration.

This is by far my favorite of the kickstarter releases. Definitely too 5 overall for Brandon Sanderson books also. The manga story-telling + final fantasy vibes were very apparent in a very good way.

Easily—EASILY—the best Secret Project this year, and rivaling Mistborn for overall favorite Sanderson. Brought some tears and—despite being written in 2020 I believe—has some very topical comments on a particular aspect of the years after.

Fucking AMAZING.
