This book is everything. Love these two authors separately, together, they are a writing force to be reckoned with. This story revolves around Josh and Evie, and Josh's...business. This was such a creative fresh and new story to be told and I am so glad I was able to read it. This book...yeah a book about the D, gives you feels...not those kind you pervert! You really get invested in these characters, and you love them from the beginning. Evie is the right mix of vulnerable, and take change. Josh was the right mix between humorous, sex God, and all around good guy...oh yeah and he wears glasses...be still my heart! This book takes us on such a journey I didn't want it to end. Thank you Lex and Leslie for such an amazing book. If you do one thing this year, read this book. This story is told in alternating views.

What an adorable book! I LOVE Lex Martin's writing and when I heard about this book I HAD to have it. I've never read any of Leslie's books....but well, now I have to! ;)

This book was fun and light. I loved how Evie and Josh seamlessly fit together. Their chemistry was unbelievable. They are definitely one of "those" couples who are just so cute and understand each other with a glance!

This author duo needs to write more together. I can't get over the writing. Flawlessly flowed from one page and chapter to the next.

I was originally going to give a 4.5 star rating because while this book worked for me, I just had a few personal complaints about how some things were handled in regards to Josh & his blog. That's my personal view and something that frustrated me when I read it. I totally had to side with Evie on it. I was SO connected to her, throughout the whole book actually, but this part I just wanted to high five her and say "IM WITH YA GIRL!". But when I sat back and thought about how rate the book, I decided it's a 5 star. Considering how well I connected to Evie.

I cannot wait for Drew's book! That book is going to be so much fun!

This is exactly what I expected in a good way. Very light with not a ton of character development. Cute story. They should have moved into her house. And they needed to decide if she liked her firm of not. But I did like that he kept f*ng up and saying the wrong thing instead of instantly apologizing.

Higher star rating bc I like the sex positive vibe of this one.

My third book by this author and I liked it but didn’t love it. A little predictable but still a cute story.

How did a handsome, glasses wearing, wealthy man from a wealthy and prominent Portland family end up running a dick blog called All About the D? For Josh Cartwright it all started as a dare from his best friend, but lo and behold his blog blew up, getting millions of hits and comments every time he posts a new NSFW picture. Soon, companies that specializes in sex toys and dildo are contacting him. Despite his apprehension about word getting out about his secret "hobby," he knew he needed an attorney to help him with the deals and contracts and all the legalese.

So, he contacts Evelyn "Evie" Mills, a new associate at the prestigious law firm. Landing a Cartwright as a client would go a long way for Evie who is trying to get her footing at her law firm. She just has to convince the conservative partners at her very traditional law firm to take on someone who runs a dick blog. The moment Evie and Josh meet, there was an instant attraction between them, but with Josh potentially being her client Evie knew they cannot act on their attraction and just remain as friends... until they can, because the partners decided not to represent Josh.

Then, Josh somehow ended up charming the partners and they had a change of heart, which meant that Evie is now truly is his attorney and they couldn't be together despite the smoldering attraction between them that may be turning into something more. It doesn't help that they are spending more time together as client and attorney...

When I heard All About the D is about a sexy dick blogger, I was like sign me up! I've been really into male stripper romance lately and I thought All About the D is in a similar vein. Well, not really. Josh runs a dick blog, albeit a classy one since he like to superimpose his dick against city backdrops and city skylines, because he is an architect and a very successful one. Of course, the dick blog is secondary and the focus is really on how Josh and Evie navigate their professional and personal relationship with each other, which didn't really bring anything new to what I've read in the past with characters in similar situations. Evie and Josh's story didn't feel fresh.

I especially liked Josh's character. He's the secret deviant in his family, which included a brother who is running for senate and his parents are the crème de la crème of the Portland socialites. He knows if his secret blog is made public, it will be huge scandal not only for him but his entire family. Throughout the book, it was implied that if Josh's family ever finds out about his dick blog, they'd cut him off and would never speak to him again. But, the thing was, when his family learned about his blog their reaction wasn't as explosive as I thought it was going to be.

Evie herself was a little frustrating--she struggled with either going forward with her relationship with Josh at the detriment of her career, or keeping things platonic with him. So, she's pushing him away only to pulls him back in and I'm not a fan of that kind of drama.

There were standout parts that had me giggling, like when Josh had to make a mold of his dick and he couldn't get it hard enough so he kept screwing it up. Then, there's the classic scene of Evie's lovable but overexcited dog pulling her in a muddy puddle and Josh happened to just be there to lend his shirt. Of course, there's Josh's best friend, Drew, the lovable screw-up slob with the big beer belly, the total opposite of neat and meticulous Josh. Drew added some comedic relief to the story.

I enjoyed All About the D overall. It wasn't a bad book, but it didn't live up to my expectations and it was missing... *something* to make it really stand-out. However, the sex scenes were very steamy, there were some swoon-worthy moments, and overall a fun read.

It's a really good book if you are looking for a good time without my drama. It is steamy and sweet.

A funny, sexy, heartfelt surprise. Occasionally, I totally judge a book by the title...and AATD didn’t appeal to me. So here it is a couple of years post release and I’ve just now read it. What made me change my mind? Lex Martin! Having read a few others of her, I really enjoy her writing. And when I say Surprise, Baby! is coming soon, I wanted to read the story that led to Drew & Kendall. (More on them in a minute...)

I really adore Josh. A rich kid, from a prominent family, that really doesn’t like all the trappings that come with the position. The good thing about him is he works hard and makes his own way. The bad thing is is utterly obnoxious slob of a friend Drew. I respect that they have been friends since childhood, and love their loyalty. But Drew made me want to throat punch him just so he’d stop talking.

Evie hates her job, but loves her profession. And that makes her work towards a promotion she thinks she wants, at the expense being happy.

This story has so many witty moments that really made me laugh. And the chemistry between Josh & Evie is evident from their first meeting. The epilogue gave me big heart eyes! 😍

Coming soon... Drew and Kendall’s story. As much as I dislike Drew, I’m kinda looking forward to this one! I loooove a story with flawed characters that we see grow! He has a lot of potential!

I honestly don't even know where to start with this review. Rom-Com is how this book is classified. It definitely is that. But it has so much more! The angst! Make sure you can desert your life while you read this-you will NOT be able to stop reading!! Evie is trying to make partner at her law firm, she just needs to reel in some big fish. When Josh realizes he needs an attorney for some potential deals stemming from his NSFW blog, he calls Evie's firm and just happens to be transferred to her. Josh, coming from a prominent family, is in need of complete anonymity and is faced with the difficult decision of revealing himself to Evie. Ups and downs, twists and turns, oh my word, these authors have nailed this book!! And to see that Kendall and Drew have the next book?? What?? How can THOSE two have a book?!! Can't wait!! Thank you for giving me my top read of 2017!!

I had a hard time getting into the book.

The premise was promising but the story didn't engage me.

I enjoyed both Evie and Josh as characters, but something about the chemistry between them didn't work for me. I didnt feel the connection or any attraction between them.

I didnt feel the attraction bloom.

I was intrigued by Josh's character and his choice to start such a NSFW blog, but didn't see it as anything more than trying to get over an ex.
