Twins Times Two by Loree Lough has Jubal getting injured after the double trouble twins goad his bull. As punishment, the four boys must help Jubal with the chores around his dairy farm while he is recovering. They must also find a member of the community that is in need and take action by Christmas Eve. Abigail has been a widow for three years and regrets the words she said to Jubal on the night of the accident. It seems everyone in the community is aware of how Jubal and Abigail feel for each other. Maybe they just need a little help which four boys are happy to provide.

Amish Christmas Twins contains three heartwarming Amish Christmas stories with the theme of twins. I found the tales to be well-written and engaging. The Christmas Not-Wish by Shelley Shepard Gray is part of The Walnut Creek Series. Fans of the series will be delighted with charming novella. We get to see E.A. and Will Kurtz get their dream of children and in a way they never expected. New Beginning is a touching story. I could feel the pain that Elizabeth is experiencing. I enjoyed the descriptions of the Christmas items at the shop as well as the beautiful Nativity sets that Luke carved. Twins Times Two is a humorous story with two sets of twin boys from twin mothers. The boys are more mischievous than their mothers ever were (and people thought it was not possible). I enjoyed the faith messages in each story especially that we must let go and trust God. I know that it something that I struggle with each day. Christmas is a time for miracles, and we get to see one in each sweet novella. The stories in Amish Christmas Twins will get you in the mood for the holiday season.

Typical feel-good Christmas stories, all based around twins. Although they were short, the stories made me really like the characters. A little more plot involved than in many Amish stories.

Amish Christmas Twins is an anthology written by three authors.

The Christmas Not – Wish (Shelley Shepard Gray)

Roy and Jemima are orphans and it’s almost Christmas. This was a sweet story of adoption.

New Beginnings (Rachel J. Good)

This novella focuses on the true meaning of Christmas. It reminds readers to be grateful. This was my favorite story as it tugged at my heart. It is a beautiful story of second chances.

Twins Times Two (Loree Lough)

The two sets of twins in this story are known as “Double Trouble”, and for good reason. This is a story on growing up, maturing, and a bit of romance.

I recommend this anthology to fans of the Amish.

4 stars=Great!

Three lovely stories here. The third was the weakest of the three, but I enjoyed it. In story 3, I preferred the redemptive story with the four teen boys (which is great) over the romance which didn't have much spark for me. The other two stories were excellent. The foster care story was a delight. And the second story had a great emotional punch. I enjoyed reading all three.

I really enjoyed these novellas. I was looking for something uplifting, where I wouldn’t have to wince at the language or skip over the sex scenes. This book fit those requirements. I can probably count on one hand how many books I’ve read that fall under the Amish category, but I am going to seek out more books by these authors. It was a heartwarming and happy read. During the last two stories I was a little frustrated and thought “Just talk to each other already!” But what romance is complete without a little angst?
